AH! This is the last challenge of 2010! What a year it has been…the year started with change. I was laid off in February, my lease at a place I had called home for 4 years was up at the end of March and by April I was calling Austin home. I fell in love with the city, traveled, met lots of new people, enjoyed some great food, listened to a ton of live music, and had countless adventures. I’m greatful every day for the many blessing in my life. C-ya 2010! Bring it on 2011!
The last challenge: Cold.
Nothing like a cold beverage to ring in the new year. No, I don’t drink gin(gag) but my roommate does and the label was fancy(you fancy huh).
Happy New Year!
You definitely succeeded in capturing a sense of “cold”, the picture looks great and I love how you through the back two bottles out of focus. But sadly, there are no rum bottles…hahah
I actually got to your site from a DPS post you made about selling CDs to clients instead of selling your stuff online, in person, etc.
I was wondering what you usually charge for a CD and whether or not that price varies depending on how many images are on them.
Thanks! 🙂
Hey Tito!
Thanks for checking out my work! Pricing and the amount of images on a CD depends on the client/occasion. The price does increase with the number of images. I like to give the client the option of having a CD so they can order as many prints as they want from wherever they want. It just makes it easier on them. They don’t feel obligated to order prints from me. Plus they have the freedom to store the pics on their own computer or they can e-mail them to friends and family.
Please keep the feedback coming! It’s always good to hear from fellow photographers!

Sounds like a win for both parties! Making prints can be such a hassle sometimes. Thanks for taking the time to explain that to me.
And I will definitely keep in touch and share my thoughts on your work. If you have some extra time id love for you to stop by my blog, I am just starting in this whole blogging world so it’s not much…but any advice/feedback would be awesome! You seem pretty experienced.

and I will be doing the 52 week photo challenge like you did with shutterboo, hopefully it will keep me focused on taking pictures more consistently!
Thanks again for your time! 🙂
